Two arrested for illegal possession of rhino horns

Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) law enforcement officers today (Saturday September 26, 2020) nabbed two suspects in illegal possession of two rhino horns. The arrests were a culmination of a three-month hunt for the suspects by the law enforcement officers.

The duo, a female Somali national and a man whose nationality is yet to be identified were arrested in Nairobis Eastleigh estate at 9.00AM.

The suspects were also found in possession of fake Kenya currency that was in the process of being printed. They were driven to KWS headquarters where they were interrogated after which they will be handed over to the police before being arraigned in court.
