The County Government of Uasin Gishu on Friday engaged officials from Vital Animal Health company on various ways of improving milk production through the current technological practices.
Speaking during the meeting, Agriculture Chief officer Dr. Victoria Tarus together with the Director of Veterinary Services Dr Philip Biama said that with the company coming on board, the department will work with cooperative societies so that farmers can boost production by practising good dairy farming techniques.
Dr. Tarus added that the extension officers will benefit from the training offered and transfer the knowledge to the farmers.
