Uasin Gishu County trains extension officers

The County Government of Uasin Gishu Department of Agriculture has trained it’s agricultural extension officers ahead of a seedlings distribution exercise in the county. The agricultural extension officers will work with farmers offering support on production of promotional cash crops.

The extension officers stationed in all 30 the wards will be in charge of cultivation of 40,000 Avocado, 8,000 Macadamia, 150,000 Coffee and 20,000 banana seedlings from planting to harvesting which will be distributed to farmers across the county.
