Officers from the Department of Water, Environment, Natural Resources, Tourism and Wildlife Management in Uasin Gishu County visited River Sosiani Nature and Amusement park to inspect and check on the status of the proposed park and the riparian ecosystem.
The proposed nature park is set to provide an open space where residents can relax and at the same time promote tourism. The project entails the development of a captive wildlife facility, amusement and recreational spots. Currently, a fence has been constructed and a nature trail developed and will soon be open to the residents once the first phase is complete.
