Police in Kajiado County now plan to prefer more charges against a former Bisil Member of County Assembly Lesalaon Ole Seki, who is reported to have incited local residents to kill lions in the area.
Ole Seki was featured on an Agenda TV clip released on You Tube, calling on the residents to take up arms and kill the lions, claiming the carnivores were preying on their livestock.
The politician is also reported to have incited the residents to cause chaos, which resulted in two police officers and two local community members being injured. They are still admitted in hospital, nursing injuries.
Ole Seki is out on a police bond after being arrested by the police for incitement. Further investigations into the matter are ongoing.
Earlier today, two KWS officers recorded statements to assist the police prefer more charges against the politician.
