Four suspects were arrested in Ijara area of Garissa County for illegal possession of bush meat.
A joint operation team comprised of officers from Kenya Wildlife Service, Northern Rangelands Trust and the Director of criminal investigations nabbed the four and recovered 150 Kg of giraffe meat, and carcasses of four dikdiks and two lesser kudu.
The team also seized hunting tools and a motorcycle from the suspects were taken to Masalani police station.
The suspects will be arraigned at Garissa law courts today Monday June 15, 2020 to face charges of illegal possession of bush meat.
