A dairy farmer from Mukurwe-ini, Nyeri County is advocating for use of maize as fodder compared with napier grass. Charles Njoroge who is a retired agricultural Officer says silage making using maize has several advantages to him compared with one made from napier grass.

He explains how he keeps 15 cows in a 1.6 acre piece of land using maize fodder in the video below.
