Some of the markets that had been closed in Kiambu County for failing to meet hygiene standards and failure to practice social distancing will be re-opened by Wednesday next week, once they meet the required standards. Kiambu Governor James Nyoro made the announcement after touring
Limuru and Soko Mjinga markets today to check on their level of preparedness in the fight against Covid-19. He urged the respective market committees to speed up their efforts in bringing these markets to the standards shown by several markets in the county, including the one in Juja.
