Uganda’s Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries( MAAIF) has received support in form of assorted protective gear and lab equipment from the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) for use in diagnostics and control of Rift Valley Fever.
The stock of gear and equipment was officially handed over by the FAO Country Representative Dr. Antonio Querido and received on behalf of MAAIF by Lt. Col (Rtd) Dr. Bright Rwamirama Kanyontore the Minister of State for Animal Industry.
