The County Government of Isiolo in collaboration with World Food Programme (WFP) and the International Potato Center (ICP) , are conducting a five days training of trainers (TOT) training for a project dubbed Organic Food Systems Project (OFSP).
Participants attending the TOT at Malka cultural centre in Kinna ward, Garbatullah sub-county will gain knowledge on establishing home gardens and integration of small stock rearing technologies.
Additionally, most will go home with knowledge and skills in vine multiplication method and process, preservation of planting materials during dry season, importance of home gardening, integration of small livestock rearing among others. The aim is to boost food production in ASAL areas of the County.
