The certification was awarded following a stringent and comprehensive audit process, which evaluated various aspects of Kenchic’s operations.

The audit covered a wide range of processes, including the slaughtering of chickens, the processing of raw fresh and frozen poultry products, raw further processed products, and ready-to-eat products. Kenchic says its processing structures and production floors were found to be flawless, and the audit revealed commendable Good Manufacturing Practices findings.

The primary objectives of the audit were to assess the conformity of Kenchic’s management system with the audit criteria and the company’s ability to ensure adherence to statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements. Furthermore, the audit evaluated the effectiveness of Kenchic’s systems in achieving its objectives and identifying areas of improvement.
