West Pokot Targets Higher Incomes with Coffee Seedling Distribution

The West Pokot County Government has launched the distribution of 4,200 coffee seedlings to farmers in Amon Village, Murkwijit Location, Mnagei Ward, in a bid to promote sustainable agriculture and boost household incomes.

The exercise, led by County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Agriculture, Irrigation, Livestock and Fisheries Wilfred Long’ronyang, saw four farmers receive the seedlings to support the expansion of coffee farming in the area.
