Farmers in Uasin Gishu County Agriculture Chief Officer Julius Rotich has urged registered farmers to finalize on their land preparation ahead of coffee seedlings.
Speaking on Thursday when he conducted an inspection exercise of the coffee nursery in Chebororwa ATC, Rotich said that once the rains are stable they will start the distribution of coffee seedlings to farmers who have registered themselves.
“Prepare your farms because the Coffee is ready for planting and once the rains are stable we will start the distribution process,” said Rotich. The County Government of Uasin Gishu is in the process of securing more seedlings after many farmers showed interest in the promotional crops.
