As we enter the last month of season 2024/2025, Sale 37 at the Nairobi Coffee Exchange, held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, delivered a strong market showing, with 615,107 kg of coffee traded in 9,886 bags, resulting in notable revenue of $4,945,789 or Ksh 638 million.
The sale also achieved the highest average price in the season so far, hitting $402 per 50kg bag ($8 per kg/Ksh 160 per kg of cherry).
Grade AA attracted the highest average price at $459 per 50kg and reached a peak of $491 per 50kg.

The top 3 lots were from KIANGUA FCS CODE XBB13 in Meru county – 8 bags of Grade AA fetched $491 per bag, this was followed by a lot of 12 bags of grade AA from KAPSOAS FCS in NANDI county that fetched a price of $490 per bag.
The third lot of 13 bags of AA, also from KIANGUA FCS/KATHARE FACTORY CODE XBB13 in Meru county, fetched $489 per bag. A big shout-out to farmers from KIANGUA FCS and KAPSOAS FCS.
